In case anyone was actually wondering the question of would Apple’s video calling feature FaceTime count towards your carrier minutes? The answer according to Business Insider, no it will not. The carrier stops counting your minutes as soon as the FaceTime call connects. Although FaceTime uses Wi-Fi, the question arose due to the fact the you can connect to FaceTime while on a voice call.
