Looks like when Verizon launches their 4G LTE services to its customers, they may follow AT&T’s footsteps by cancelling their unlimited data plans.  I knew that this would happen eventually with cellular networks and their customers’ heavy data usage causing a strain of their networks.  Their answer to the problem is to cap unlimited data plans.  This can be an inconvenience to Verizon customers in the near future.  Below is a quote from Verizon’s CFO on the matter.

“We will probably need to change the design of our pricing where it will not be totally unlimited, flat rate,” John Killian, chief financial officer of Verizon Communications Inc
