Introducing a new A/V standard of cabling that will eliminate your power, ethernet, & HDMI cable and replace it with only one.  That one cable will be the HDBaseT cable created by LG, Samsung, Sony Pictures, and Valens Semiconductor.  The HDBaseT uses a single RJ45 cable that supports audio, HD & 3-D video signals, and 100watts of power within a 100MBit Ethernet cable that stretches out to 328 feet in length.  The new standard will begin rolling out later this year and if all goes well, we should expect more HDBaseT supported devices by 2011.  A comparison chart and link is after the break.
