Thanks to the good PR people for Nite Ize’s eCLIPse for mobile devices, let us get a hold of their self-locking clip to play with.   This clip is definitely a great alternative for a holster for a phone using a 3M adhesive will definitely keep your device from getting misplaced.  It is already a TGSB Honorable Mention and we are ready to give you guys a full review of the eCLIPse.

*The Good*

What can be said about the eCLIPse?  As you can see we posted several pics of the eCLIPse at work, doing what it does best.  As mentioned before, the self-locking clip can hold on to waistband, pockets, bag straps, etc. to keep your device secure.   It may look like a regular clip but it has an extra piece that helps it to lock into place and also to release it.  The 3M VHB adhesive is definitely strong enough where you don’t have to worry about it falling off of your device.  It can be used for smartphones and media players to keep it in place.  Definitely an innovation on a mobile accessory courtesy of Nite Ize.

*The Bad*

Not too much negative things to say about the eCLIPse.  The only hiccup that I have encountered is the self-locking clip can stick to certain materials you clip your device to.  It works perfect in denim jeans and cargo shorts but on like polyester tear-aways the locking clip dug into the material a little bit but no too much to damage or snag it.

*The TG 2 Cents*

Bottom line this is definitely a great, must-have accessory for your mobile device especially if you’re accident-prone to constantly dropping your device.  For anyone not interested in a bulky, over-priced holster for their phone or media player.  The Nite Ize eCLIPse it for you.  It is nicely priced at $11.99 and can be purchased here for anyone interested.
