Well it looks like Verizon isn’t done cleaning house of smartphone inventory.  The BlackBerry Tour 9630, the Motorola Droid, and the Motorola Devour are all on the cut list by Big Red.  With the Bold 9650 replacing the Tour series of flagship CDMA BlackBerry, the original Tour becomes nothing more than just an obviously mistake by RIM/Verizon w/o Wi-Fi + trackpad.  The original Droid definitely kick-started the Android takeover in the marketplace and I applaud it for what it did for Android.  The Droid 2 was spotted in the VZW summer catalog and is rumored for an August release shipping with Android 2.2.  And the Devour well… just didn’t pair out too well.  Low-end Android devices don’t sell too well on Verizon amongst the variety of superior devices.
