Engadget got the inside scoop on the latest version of Apple TV, which will be renamed iTV. Apple’s new iTV set top box will be sporting iPhone 4 specs like 1GHz A4 processor and 16GB of memory for the expected price of $99. iTV will have iTunes streaming and App Store support along with its own iTV apps. Unfortunately due to the A4’s inability to support full HD content, it will only support 720p HD and not 1080p HD. Hopefully that will change upon launch time which is expected to be around the fall season, which is right around the corner.
