Bloomberg announced last night that three out of the four major US carriers are working with Visa and Mastercard to bring your credit cards to your phone. This process would allow customers to simply wave their phone over the base station and would substitute as a card swipe for payments using their credit cards. This is already up and running in places like Japan, Turkey, and the United Kingdom. Brave new world we are in, huh? Next up will be the RFID chips/tags and all that New World Order stuff.
