FCC just recently cleared BlackBerry’s latest 9800 Slider for a landing. This Berry was cleared packing AT&T-friendly 3G bands, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi b/g/n support. It was stated to be tested with the slider open and closed to avoid speculation of some newer non-leaked device. Some are calling this device RIM’s last stand as it is the first to be released with BlackBerry 6. Many users are bored with the stagnant platform and 50% of users are ready to jump ship to iPhone or Android. Stay tuned, AT&T press event is at 11AM this morning.
