According to DownloadSquad, Google has a tablet for Verizon in the works running their Chrome OS (not Android) built by HTC.   The Verizon Google tablet is rumored to be released on November 26th of this year (around Black Friday) along with it being cheaper than the only tablet on earth to some people, the Apple iPad, with a Verizon contract of course.  The Verizon Google tablet is said to be equipped with NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 1280 x 720 multi-touchscreen, 2GB of RAM, 32GB SSD minimum, Wi-Fi/3G/Bluetooth connectivity, GPS, webcam, and maybe a multi-card reader.  If these specs and availability are sound, then it’s game on as the tablet wars kick into gear as more than half of the tablets scheduled to arrive have been shelved or delayed.
