Following UAE’s BlackBerry ban, the Saudi Communications and Information Technology Commission instructed wireless companies in Saudi Arabia to cease all BlackBerry services on Thursday, August 5th. According to the Commission, RIM doesn’t meet their regulatory requirements. The cease of BlackBerry services will apply to both personal and business users. The Saudis want the same treatment the US gets in regards to their policies.
