For those of you wanting a Droid 2 but prefer the Star Wars-styled R2-D2 Edition Droid 2, won’t have to wait much longer. The R2-D2 Droid 2 is scheduled for a September 30th release for Verizon. So far the price on the George Lucas-approved Droid 2 is unknown at the moment but hopefully pricing is around the $199-$249 price point.
