After being secretive about it, Nintendo finally gets official with the Nintendo 3DS global availability. Nintendo announced at a press event in Japan that the 3DS will arrive in Japan on February 26th for ¥25,000 ($298) and in the US/Europe in March (pricing currently unknown). The 3DS will arrive in two colors for all: Aqua Blue and Cosmo Black. Another treat with the 3DS is that with the front-facing camera, you can take a photo of yourself and turn it into a Mii. There is a Mii Studio on the 3DS where you can edit your Mii for Wii purposes and images can be transferred via QR code (barcode) or through the 2GB MicroSD card that ships with it.
