Samsung announced today that they are currently testing a new dual-core 1GHz processor chipset for mobile devices dubbed the Orion. The Orion will be capable of 1080p HD video recording/playback at 30fps and 3D gaming support making this dual-core processor ideal for multimedia applications. Samsung will begin testing in the fourth quarter and expect to go into full production in the first quarter of 2011. Isn’t technology nice? The Orion will make the possibilities more entertaining along with the other dual-core processor making its way to consumers next year.
