Google is all about staying on top of their products to always improve on them.  Google has recently updated the Gmail app for Android to do more and to resemble the desktop client a little more.  With the update app you can now access quoted text, there’s improved message replies, message actions are shown on top of the screen, and now there’s limited support for Priority inbox.   The catch to using this update version is that your device has to be running Android 2.2.  Bummer for some Android users.
