Today Walmart unveiled a new pre-paid cellular plan using T-Mobile’s network. The new pre-paid plan will be called Walmart Family Mobile. Walmart will offer unlimited talk/text for $45 per month and 1GB of data for $40 per month (Yikes! That $85 for one line but at least any unused data carries over to the next month). Any additional lines will cost you $25 per month. Walmart Family Mobile kicks off next week in most Walmart stores. They plan to offer five phones upon launch including the Android-powered, Motorola Cliq for $249. Of course being pre-paid, no contracts required and phones will be locked into Walmart’s plan and will not be able to use for another network or for a T-Mobile plan.
