Verizon has been quite the target for leaks as of late.   Engadget was recently tipped off at some changes on deck for Verizon’s roadmap.   So down the road, Verizon  plans to cancel their BlackBerry 9570 Storm 2 refresh, the BlackBerry Tour/Bold 9650/Curve 3G slated for updates in October ( maintenance updates, not BlackBerry 6), the Samsung Continuum is slated for an October launch date, the Motorola Venus ( which is a portrait QWERTY keyboard styled device w/ a 1GHz processor & running Android 2.2) is on deck for an October release date, the Droid Pro is a world edition Droid 2 w/ GSM radios & armed with a 1.3GHz processor is looking like late October/early November, the HTC Merge/Lexikon is also looking at a late October/early November launch, the newest LG enV Pro is packed with 1GHz processor, GSM radio & now running Android, Motorola will introduce their 10inch tablet called the Stingray early 2011 as it will be equipped with Tegra 2  processor, 16GB of on-board storage, running Android 3.0, & upgradeable from CDMA to LTE (4G), the FiveSpot mobile hotspot on October7th, three LTE (4G) USB modems from LG/Pantech/Novatel in November, and finally a LTE MiFi from Novatel arriving late 2010/early 2011.   Verizon’s crystal ball shows some exciting and interesting things coming in the near horizon.
