According to Reuters, Microsoft is currently in talks to license TV networks for a new online TV-streaming service. Of course using the Xbox 360 to kick off the services if made a reality since Xbox Live being a paid service is one of the biggest online gaming communities. They are looking into even picking up individual channels to offer like HBO or Showtime like the ESPN content they already offer via Xbox Live. A move like this would definitely get even more Xbox Live subscribers if they can trim down their cable bill or cut it entirely.
