Today T-Mobile announced the T-Mobile Comet (formerly the Huawei Ideos)  arriving on November 3rd along with the LG Optimus T, and the Motorola DEFY.   The Comet joins the ranks of inexpensive, entry-level Android devices coming to T-Mobile and will all be priced at under $100 after new two-year contract.  

Also, T-Mobile announced the a cheaper data plan and new data feature that will become available for all subscribers.   Anyone looking to shave some $$$ off of their monthly bills can opt for T-Mobile’s 200MB data plan which is priced at $15 monthly for current customers and $10 monthly for new customers.  New contract or extension is required to take advantage of the lower data plan.    And finally, T-Mo is offering an official Tethering/Wi-Fi Sharing service plan.   The service allows your select smartphones to act as a wireless modem to laptops, netbooks, tablets, etc for $14.99 monthly as an add-on to those with the $30 unlimited data plan.    T-Mobile is definitely doing their part to make it an interesting holiday shopping season.
