The Facebook app for Android just got more interesting and fun to use. With a recent update, that brings it to version 1.5.0, now brings you push notifications for a new wall post or direct message as well as real-time chat that works in the app and in the background to keep in touch with all of your friends. The push feature is only available on devices running Android 2.2 or higher. This puts the Android FB app to neck-and-neck with the iPhone in regards to capabilities.
