Google has been on roll with new innovations and apps, now its with a newer version of Google Maps. Google Maps 5 was recently shown off with Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) showing off new 3D dynamic views of maps, pinch-to-zoom, and also offline caching. Only a select few of the current Android devices will get Google Maps 5 support. The compatible devices are:
- Galaxy S
- Droid
- Droid X
- Droid 2
- Droid Incredible
- Evo
- Nexus S
- G2
Users of the devices listed above can expect the update to arrive in “coming days”, according to Andy Rubin of Google.
