The good news is that now we have a name to go with the Motorola tablet running Android 3.0 (Honeycomb): the Droid XOOM.   Unfortunately the bad news is that the XOOM won’t ship with 4G LTE support built-in.    So the XOOM looks to steal the Galaxy Tab’s tablet thunder by being the first tablet to ship with Android 3.0, a 1GHz dual-core NVIDIA Tegra 2 processor, 2MP front-facing/5MP rear-facing camera, 10inch touchscreen w/ 1280 x 800 resolution, 512MB of RAM, gyroscope, mini-HDMI out port, micro-USB, and 3.5mm audio jack.    Next week will be showtime as CES begins, so expect a slew of new announcements by carriers and companies.
