With the RIM tablet quickly gaining both momentum and interest by all, the Canadian carrier Rogers is the first one out the gate to call dibs on it. At the Rogers TabLife conference, the VP of the carrier talked about how 2011 will be the year of the tablet as more tablets are released, more people are becoming more interested and are purchasing them. The Rogers VP went on to say that the carrier will offer both the Wi-Fi (early next year) and cellular versions (when they become announced) of the PlayBook. Tablets will definitely cut into the netbook market as more popular tablets are released next year. After the break show two videos: one of the PlayBook announcement and the other is a sneak preview of a PlayBook prototype in action at the conference.
