Word around the internet is that Verizon will bring the BlackBerry 6 OS to Verizon in the form of sliding QWERTY keyboard. This can be the BlackBerry Torch or a new exclusive device of similar design. BBLeaks mentions that VZW could get horizontal sliding device (think of the G2) as opposed to the portrait slider like the Torch. Now that the Torch has smooth OS compared the buggy version of OS6 it shipped with, would you pick one up backed by Verizon?
