Sony announced yesterday that they will launch the PlayStation app coming soon to the Android and iOS platforms. Version 1 of this app will offer features like viewing your PlayStation Network trophies along with your friends’ games & online status, receive the latest in games/news/hardware for your PS3/PS2/PSP, and you can share products/news with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, & email. It is scheduled to be released in UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and The Netherlands. Sony is already working on the next version that will support more countries. The PS App doesn’t look like the same app from the shots of the PlayStation Phone, but hey it’s something right?
