It has already been a few days since the Dell Venue Pro is supposed to be shipped out for those who pre-ordered it. Customers who already ordered it, have no word on whether or not their device has even shipped or not. There have rumors of a slew of issues that initially delayed the pre-order like Wi-Fi connectivity problems or SIM card registrations issues. Engadget got a vague statement from Dell on the matter that doesn’t really explain anything saying:
“Dell continually monitors its manufacturing and supply for all its products. We are looking in to potential ship date changes and will issue an update as soon as it’s available.”
Dell is off to a sloppy start into the wireless business with delays and over-pricing the Streak, the delay of the Aero, and now this. Hope they can rectify this issue quickly.
