Earlier this week there were rumors circulating that a dual-core processor must be necessary to run the newly announced Android 3.0 OS for tablets.   Luckily for us, Google’s Dan Morrill was listening and dispelled those rumors by the way of his Twitter account by saying:

“Random note: there’s no hard minimum processor requirement for Honeycomb,” reads the tweet. “Trust me, if there were I’d know.”

Now all we have to do now is await for Google to make the official Android 3.0 OS announcement to see when favorites like the Galaxy Tab or the Streak will get some tablet OS love.
