Google posted this demo video on Android’s YouTube page showing off the new 3.0 OS made exclusively for tablets. The demo’s fonts and cues are Tron: Legacy-inspired but the new OS looks nothing like the Android everyone is familiar with, but in a good way. They definitely offered a lot of UI changes that takes full advantage of whatever screen size you’re working with. The Gmail app is more like the iPad’s and Galaxy Tab’s email client which is a huge improvement, the browser looks to be powered by Chrome, and Google Talk now natively offers video calling. The million dollar question is will the Galaxy Tab or the Streak ever see this Android 3.0 OS update? Check out the demo video below after the break.
