Today Sprint made the EVO’s little brother official with announcing the HTC EVO Shift 4G. It is arriving on January 9th like we previously reported for $149.99 after $100 mail-in rebate and new two-year contract from Sprint. The EVO Shift arrives equipped running Android 2.2 w/ Sense UI, powered by the same 800MHz processor in the T-Mobile G2 (very fast), 5MP camera w/ 720p HD video recording + LED flash, 3.6inch touchscreen w/ pinch-to-zoom support, slide-out full QWERTY keyboard, Wi-Fi b/g/n, hotspot capabilities, 1500 mAh battery, and ships with a 2GB MicroSD card. The EVO Shift has everything except for a front-facing camera but you can always use the rear camera. FYI to those interested, Sprint asks all of their 4G users to kick out an extra $10 monthly for usage of their 4G WiMAX service. Check out the official release below after the break.
