According to Engadget’s sources, on March 2nd during Apple’s press event, we should a newer version of the so ever-popular iPad. The iPad 2 has been long awaited as it has had a hell of year as its one year anniversary approaches. The first iPad has followed in the footsteps of the iPhone and set the bar on what tablets should look like and what they should be capable of. With the sequel we should expect a thinner version of the 9.7inch tablet by Apple, powered by a more powerful A5 processor, more RAM at 512MB, dual cameras, and running the new iOS 5 that offers more of Apple’s cloud services as well. The rumors of the new iPad having a SD card slot and higher screen resolution appear to have not made the final cut. We shall see by Wednesday what the iPad 2 will have to offer.
