Definitely not the best timing after HP revealed its newer webOS devices earlier this week. However HP and Verizon decided now is a good time to announce pre-orders for the Pre 2. For those interested, all you need is $100 to claim yours on a two-year contract or pick one up for $450 at full retail pricing. The Pre 2 will begin shipping on February 17th. The Pre 2 is nice device for those who loved the original but the Pre3 will be worth waiting for.
