In this time of crisis and need for those who have loved one or just want to assist those who suffered during the earthquake/tsunami in Japan, the four major US carriers all offer ways to connect for free.   AT&T and Verizon are offering its subscribers free calls and text messages to Japan by waiving charges.    Verizon will uphold their free services from now until April 10th while AT&T will keep their free services until the end of the month.   Sprint and T-Mobile are waiving text messages for those who donate to charities and organizations helping Japan during these hard times.
