For anyone thinking the two CDMA carriers would join forces to combat the new AT&T acquired T-Mobile, you were wrong.   Verizon CEO told Reuters that the company has no interest in buying Sprint and doesn’t need them to win.   As VZW will continue their goal to be the most profitable wireless company, they are not phased by AT&T’s attempts to become a bigger carrier with more subscribers if the merger is approved.   Maybe someone else will invest/purchase Sprint to keep them from being of the opposite end of a wireless monopoly?   Time will tell.
