Ahead of the rumored April 17th cutoff date, Verizon looks to gone ahead to axed the one-year contract option for their subscribers online. If you go to VZW and check out their inventory for different devices, you will see only the options for two-year contract or month-to-month. Droid-Life got the scoop from one of their readers who recently was informed by a VZW CSR. Only a matter of time before it takes effect in the stores, if it hasn’t already.
