Verizon has recently given Motorola Droid 2 Global users something to look forward to and its not a free phone upgrade. The Android 2.3 update is now available for the Droid 2 Global that will take up 103MB of space as it will offer new features like a refreshed UI, App Groups, improved battery life when using Bluetooth & Wi-Fi to name a few of the new treats. A little disappointed that thus far, the Android 2.3 updates does not supply users will the software-supplied features seen on the Nexus S. But I guess these minor features will have to do.
