Looks like Microsoft has been taking notes from Mac and Android by prepping to make one, unified OS for all of their products. Apple has been slowly implementing iOS features within the Mac OS while Android’s next big update will be bring the phone and tablet OS together into one. Microsoft’s timeline for its OS merger is slated for a in the near future as Microsoft hinted at having a single ecosystem for PCs, tablets, phones and TVs. Within the next four years, Microsoft hopes to have everything intertwined which will be the next OS after Windows 8 and their newest gaming console to follow the Xbox 360. Moving towards the future, this is definitely a great idea for any brand serving multiple versions of itself to the consumers.
