There is more word circulating about two iPhones being launched this year, an iPhone 4S & the iPhone 5. The alleged launch date is teeter-totting between September & October time frame. The most recent report suggests for an October 7th announcement and late October release. We were recently tipped that Sprint would not get the iPhone 5 but a cheaper model, possibly the iPhone 4S. If this becomes fact then the same could occur with T-Mobile (even with the AT&T merger looming). Being tardy to the iPhone party, Apple would grace the late-comers with an iPhone 4 w/ a 1GHz dual-core A5 processor & possibly an 8MP camera while AT&T and Verizon would offer Apple’s latest i5 w/ same processor & 8MP camera. Both devices would run iOS 5 as I’m sure Apple would make iPhone 5 the more premium device so you should expect some differences. We believe this to be true on the Sprint-side of things, while T-Mobile is just speculation at the moment. Just like anything else you read, take it with a grain of salt until proven true.
