Verizon recently spoke with the Wall Street Journal and confirmed that the carrier with the fastest 4G will not offer their version of the Samsung Galaxy S II.   Samsung is set to announce the device this upcoming Monday for US carriers.   We already reported on the possible variations of the device in the US as VZW was in the process of an LTE version of the new Galaxy S.   VZW spokesperson, Brenda Raney says that the carrier already offers a variety of premium Samsung, Android devices like the DROID Charge.   However VZW subscribers can expect a similar device making its way to the market.   There were previous rumors circulating the Samsung would behind the next Nexus device as well as offering a 720p display, 4G LTE support, 1GB of RAM, and running newest Android Ice Cream OS.   Verizon subscribers shouldn’t be surprised when their name is not announced on Monday but know that something else is in the works.
