Just a little bit ago, Netflix announced that they will split their DVD side by re-branding it with a new name called Qwikster. Anyone using their streaming only services will see no changes as they part of the company will still be known as Netflix. Anyone still using both streaming & DVD or just DVD will soon notice a new name /logo on your red envelopes. Also for an additional charge, Qwikster will have the option of video game rentals as well for the PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360 consoles. Expect no more price changes as the CEO offers a formal apology along with the announcement on video which can be found below after the break. Expect the name change to become official within a few weeks.
