Previously Sprint’s ETFs (early termination fees) were only $200 but next week, they will get higher. Starting September 9th, Sprint’s ETFs will go up to $350 as this will be applicable to smartphones, tablets, and netbooks/notebooks. Also the Home of Everything EVO will double their upgrade fee from $18 to $36. Bummer. Those looking to pick up the newly announced Epic 4G Touch will be affected. Speculation would believe that the carrier is prepping their rates for the forthcoming iPhone slated to arrive right around the corner.
