Now that the new Galaxy Nexus is now truly official, Google announces the full details on their latest OS with Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich.  After what I’ve seen thus far with the new Nexus and the new OS, Android 4.0 has definitely brought my attention back to the OS on a personal level.   Ice Cream Sandwich merges the previous Honeycomb and Gingerbread OS into one with a plethora of new features along for the ride as well.   The full list of goodies coming along with the OS are:

  • Camera app now has zero shutter lag between taking photos
  • Video/image zoom stabilization
  • The ability to take snapshots while recording video
  • Panorama mode within the Camera app
  • The Movie Studio app from Honeycomb is now present
  • A built-in photo editor is also present
