RIM posted on their blog yesterday that have decided to wait to launch the PlayBook OS 2.0 until next year due to problems bringing over key native apps to the tablet.   Although PlayBook owners were promised the update this month, expect RIM to renege on that promise.   Yet another let down by the BlackBerry brand.  They are unfortunately still having trouble bringing over native BlackBerry apps like BBM, calendar, push email, etc.   The long-awaited PlayBook OS 2.0 is now scheduled for a February 2012 roll-out as BBM will not be a part of this update.   It will come later at a later date with another update.   Hey, you can always use BBM via BlackBerry Bridge.
