Earlier this week, the folks at PlayStation unveiled the official launch details for up-and-coming portable gaming system, the PS Vita. So starting on February 22, 2012, the Vita will become available in the US, Canada, Latin America, & Europe. What about games you may ask? The Vita will launch with over 100 games like Assassin’s Creed, Call Of Duty, FIFA, Resistance: Burning Skies, and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3 to name a few. The PS Vita will have its own social apps built-in like Facebook, foursquare, Skype, & Twitter to keep up with friends & their social status even though it is not a phone. So you have a few months to get your $249 (Wi-Fi) or $299 (3G/Wi-Fi) ready for Sony’s latest in handheld gaming.
