Apple maybe prepping to step up Siri’s abilities soon than you might think. According to reports by German site Macerkopf.de, iOS 5.1 will add more official, hack-free tricks for Siri. With the virtual assistant, you can already compose texts/emails, play music, get directions, etc. The report suggests Siri to have more hardware controls like give consumers the ability to take a picture/record video and even turn on/off Wi-Fi & Bluetooth as well. Siri is still in beta form, making for Apple to still add more functionality to it as time goes on. Of course, the report doesn’t offer a window of availability for the possible update. Just keep in mind, all of this before developers get their hands on the software to make more clever additions to Siri for your iPhone 4S.
