Apparently gaming site Eurogamer was tipped off by a source close to Microsoft that the Redmond-based company is already hard at work on the next version of the popular gaming accessory for Xbox 360 with the Kinect 2. Don’t get antsy just yet. No release date was revealed for the Kinect 2 but it is suggested that it will built into the next Xbox console. What more can they do to the already innovating gaming accessory you might ask?
Microsoft is planning to offer a more precise interactive experience by giving the new sensor the ability to read lips, detect facial expressions, decipher tones & pitch in your voice, as well as being able to see your mood. Just when you thought it could do everything already. I know this bit of news may upset anyone who may have recently purchased an Xbox 360 w/ Kinect but keep in mind, the 360 has been out since 2005. If they plan to execute Kinect built-in the next console, this would be a catalyst for this move even though the Kinect sensor has only been out for one year.
