Earlier today Google announced a new, free news reading app called Google Currents made available for Android & iOS devices.   Think of it as a news feed with a slick magazine-like UI with content from over 150 publishers and over 180 publications like CNET, Fast Company, Forbes, Huffington Post, and more.   The app supports RSS, video/photo feeds, Google + streams, and Google Reader subscriptions.   All content on Google Currents is optimized for smartphones and tablet screens.   So far it is a great app for keeping up with news feeds with some visual styling to it.   BTW, don’t forget to add TechGuySmartBuy to your feeds.   Check out the demo video below followed by the appropriate links to download.
