Just got home from LG’s intimate event showing off their latest high-end LTE Android smartphone for AT&T, the Nitro HD.   The Nitro HD feels great in-hand.   It is very light as it doesn’t have the heft most phones have.   The display is where you will find a noticeable difference compared to the competition.    They actually had a European version of the Galaxy S II to compare Super AMOLED Plus vs. the Nitro’s IPS + HD.   From screen icons/widgets, media, to camera shots, looks like Nitro is the better device.   The Nitro’s display is a 4.5inch screen w/ 1280 x 720 resolution with superb color management as images & fonts look crisp.   Running Android 2.3.5 and a speedy 1.5GHz dual-core processor in preparation to handle whatever you can throw at it.   Surprisingly enough while at the event, our device was able to pick up an LTE signal with speeds of 13Mbps download.   Unless we didn’t get the memo, AT&T has not yet official launched their 4G LTE network in NYC or have they?  Anyways, we will be putting the Nitro through our TGSB testing as a full review is on the way.   Check out more photos below after the break.
