Last night, I was present within the good graces of both Nokia & T-Mobile’s Lumia 710 press event in NYC.   This place had arcade games, Checkers, Connect Four, Chess,  music, food and of course the Lumia 710.   The entry-level Lumia built by Nokia offers the best of Windows Phone 7 Mango software and the Finnish company’s superior hardware.   Details on our initial experience is after the break below.

The Lumia 710 does bring Nokia Drive navigation feature, along with being pre-loaded with T-Mobile TV, ESPN, and Netflix apps.   The 1.4GHz processor working hand-in-hand with a 512MB makes for a great, lag-free WP7 experience.   The Lumia 710 uses a 3.7inch ClearBlack display as it offers crisp viewing on whatever is on the 710.   Not sure how T-Mobile add this to their already entry-level Mango WP7 Radar but hopefully they will add the Lumia 800 sometime later next year.   The 710 is scheduled to arrive early next year for $49.99 on contract.  More photos of the Lumia 710 are below.
