At the same UBS conference where AT&T confirmed LTE for NYC this month, Verizon’s CEO confirmed a new data option for subscribers coming next year.   The new data plan will allow consumers with multiple-device plans to share data instead of minutes like the current data plans.  No word on specifics like what the pricing points or what the data packages will consist of.  I’m sure there are plenty of subscribers who would prefer this sharing method over minutes which many may not use as much.   We’ll keep you posted on the details as they arrive.
