While rumors were heavily circulating on when the actual release date for Microsoft’s next console will be, many of them pointed for a release later this year. The marketing director for Microsoft in France, Cedrick Delmas, says that there are no plans to release a new Xbox console anytime this year. Delmas states that there is still life with the current console as it is not yet ready to be phased out just yet. However, there are still rumors floating around that the new console could be unveiled at E3 this year for a 2013 launch. But we will have to wait and see if any of this intel becomes true.
