Seems like we can’t go a week without an iPad 3 rumor these days but nonetheless here we are again. It first began earlier with iMore‘s sources confirming the official announcement for March 7th. The 7th coincides with previous reports of Apple’s new iPad being unveiled in the first week of March. While there has been evidence of a quad-core processor present in the new tablet that bit of information has yet to be confirmed…yet.

Then later the Wall Street Journal turned one of the rumored specs into a confirmed spec with 4G LTE connectivity for the iPad 3. WSJ named the two carriers with the strongest LTE presence to offer it as they had this to say on it:

Verizon Communications Inc. and AT&T Inc. will sell a version of the coming iPad that runs on their newest fourth-generation wireless networks, according to people familiar with the matter, as the battle to cash in on big investments in mobile broadband heats up.

Since Sprint’s LTE network won’t be officially up until the middle of the year, they may have to settle for just the 3G version of it. I doubt T-Mobile will make the guest list but who knows this could be the year they join the Apple party. You guys now have 3 weeks to save up and get ready for it. So who’s buying?
